More details surrounding the murder of Marian Cozma [UPDATED]

There are conflicting reports what actually happened during the night when Marian Cozma was killed. Stop.hu investigated and found more details surrounding the crime. This is what they have learned.
Police already know that Marian Cozma was stubbed by Sándor Raffael. (See the murderer below)


The criminal has been arrested without incident by Austrian police when trying to flee the country with his girlfriend and another man. They are all in custody in Austria and expected to be returned to Hungary within weeks.

[UPDATE:Sándor Raffael said to Austrian investigators that he was heading for Italy where he has been running a prostitution ring.]

Both gypsies are repeat offenders.

Iván Sztojka has been released from jail recently for good behavior, serving only part of his sentence. He is a member of a criminal organization controlling the South shore of Lake Balaton leaving off from protection money extorted from small businesses.

According to sources, the gypsies went to the disco to demonstrate a show of force.

The hospital, where Ivan Pesic and Zarko Sesum are recovering released a statement. According to doctors, the condition of Zarko Sesum is improving, he can start training soon.

The condition of Ivan Pesic is serious; one of his kidneys had to be removed.

Today, the police offered one million forint reward for information leading to the arrest of Ivan Sztojka, the other gypsy, who went into hiding after killing Marian Cozma.

According to hospital officials, the condition of Zarko Sesum improved so much that he was transferred from intensive care to a regular unit, on Wednesday.

Ivan Pesic, still in intensive care because of viral complications. Otherwise, both players are in satisfactory condition. They remember everything what happened to them.

Today, the convoy carrying Marian Cozma back to his homeland, crossed into Romania. During the procession the convoy stopped in many Romanian cities to let fans pay tribute to the great player.

He will be laid to rest in the Pipera cemetery in Bucharest on Friday.

In the mean time, the MKB-Veszprém handball club decided that the No. 8 shirt worn by Marian Cozma during his time with the club will be withdrawn forever, so that no one at the club will ever again wear that number.
