Journalists found out that the CEO of the Hungarian Railway Agency (MÁV), a state owned company, makes almost the same amount of money like the president of the United States, Barack Obama.

Barack Obama's yearly income is about four hundred thousand dollar. On the current exchange rate, it is roughly 86 million forint.

The CEO of the Hungarian Railway Agency earns 78 million a year. The amount comprises the salary, benefits and bonuses. We cannot help but admire the Hungarian government that can afford such salaries, in a time when the county is teetering on the edge of an economic catastrophe; when millions of people out of work and have a hard time to put bread on the table.
