i live in the opposition goverment side im from santa cruz ,, and i wonder why d ont u do something about it?,,, here u dont know how the goverment is we r living in a dictatorial situation,,, nobody says what they think or do,,, why,, cause the president we have,,he dont stand of another political force,,, why do the president and minister not the bolivian people kill your friend before he tells his true? why does the prisioner they have dont tell anything??
how do you think we could do something about it? all that can be done here is put pressure on the government to demand an impartial investigation into these deaths and insist on fair trial in the case of the 2 persons who were arrested or immediate release if they are not to be accused of internationally recognized crimes and promptly tried in a fair court of law. and we must get those 2 people who are alive out of there, because bolivia is not a country that has rule of law and respects human rights
sanctions for bolivia could be demanded by our governments, but such sanctions are only imposed when it is in the interest of great powers and never or much too late for actually justified reasons. politicians in general don't care for the justice for their own citizens nor about their safety or lives, let alone for citizens of other states, but in some cases they have laws and regulations they have to pretend they respect. they just care about their personal interests and gains.
as for us citizens, sadly, we for the most part are just selfish bastards and not willing to even bother with other people's misery, let alone actually do something or sacrifice ourselves for others like eduardo. that is why he was so special.
