My son haven't done anything wrong

Gábor Dudog's mother talked to the MTI about her son's alleged link to Flores and his friends, in Bolivia. She said her son had gotten a job with an Irish security firm, in January and he had gone to Bolivia to get experience.

“My son is 25 years old and speaks many languages; he worked for a few commercial companies as regional representative. Since January, he has been working for an Irish security firm,” said Gábor's mother.

“He came back to Hungary, on March 26, but not because he was afraid and wanted to escape from Flores,” said the mother who was in touch with her son through the Internet. “He would have told me if this had been the case but never mentioned anything like that,” said the mother.

According to her, her son wanted international experience in the security field. He went to Bolivia to train as a security guard. The mother was told that her son worked, beside training, as a guard securing oil shipments.

“The accusations against my son came as a surprise and shocked me. In a faraway country like Bolivia, it is natural that when Hungarians meet they befriend with each other and take pictures, but this doesn't mean, they wanted to commit terrorist acts,” said the mother.

The mother rejected the allegations that her son wanted to kill the president of Bolivia. In fact, it was the president “who brazenly ordered the killing of other people, perhaps to divert attention from internal troubles,” said the mother.

Bolivian authorities have been looking for Gábor Dudog since May 4; he is accused of being a member of the Flores group. However, according to Mátyás Józsa, Gábor Dudog and his companion had left the country well before security forces killed Flores and two of his associates.
