Hungarians are assaulted in Serbia

In Ujvidék, Serbia, two Hungarian nationals have been assaulted and seriously injured by three Serbian men because the Hungarians spoke Hungarian. The incident started on a bus when a Serbian man, called Gužvica Dimitrije, begun shouting racist slurs to the Hungarians.

The Hungarians, first ignored the man but when they got off the bus Gužvica Dimitrije attacked them and hitting Róbert Szabó in the face. They fought off the man but in the mean time, the wife of the attacker called for help. In a short time, two accomplices arrived and the three men attacked the Hungarians again, seriously injuring the 33 year old Róbert Szabó, the father of three children.

It was the police that ended the savage attack. But by then, Róbert Szabó suffered a broken cheekbone and his teeth were knocked out. He also suffered serious eye injury and might loose his eyesight.

Violence against Hungarians in Serbia are quite common. Serbian authorities are applying double standards in crime prevention and persecuting criminals. For examples of double stands, look at the case of the boys of Temerin here. The five boys received a total of 61 years prison term for a street fight.

Béla Miavecz, member of the “Vajdasági Magyar Szövetség”, the Hungarian party of Serbia, said it was sad that Serbian authorities investigating the case as an offense, rather than a criminal offense. This is another case of an atrocious injustice against the Hungarian minority in Serbia.

As expected, the treasonous Hungarian government keeps quiet about the case and does nothing to help the victims. Instead, they are busy promoting gypsy crime and prosecuting patriotic Hungarians.

The saying says it all: “What doesn't kill you makes you stronger”. This is the bad news for the cowedly, who thinks that using violence against innocent people will advance their cause.
