The world famous Győr National Ballet had to ditch ten performances during its European tour because gypsy criminals have stolen the stage set of their “Gaudi” piece . The thieves knocked a hole on the wall of the building where the equipments were stored and have taken aluminum pieces, electrical engines and various cable attachments. The damage is approximately five and half million forints.

János Kiss, the chief of the Ballet company said that the equipments were insured and the insurance company will pay, however to reconstruct the original set will take at least six months, because most of the set elements have to be ordered from Netherlands.
