The gypsy terror in Sajóbábony proved once again what can happen in a country with a dysfunctional police force—they are unable to protect the civilian population from gypsy criminals. Contrary to mainstream media reports, today, too, gypsy criminals have attacked peaceful Hungarian citizens. The atrocities are not only isolated incidents undertaken by local criminal gangs but it developed to the point when gypsies are terrorizing the entire region of North-East Hungary, with the tacit support of the governing parties.
Jobbik calls upon the police that by all necessary means bring an end to gypsy terror in Sajóbábony. If the publicly funded police unable to fulfill its duty, they must cooperate with the Hungarian guard in the restoration of law and order. The Gendarmerie of the Hungarian Guard are ready to restore law and order with proper legal mandate.
On November 17, 2009, Gábor Vona, the president of Jobbik and Róbert Kiss, the Captain of the New Hungarian Guard are going to go to Sajóbábony, in order to get personal information about the situation and will hold a news conference in front of the Mayor office, at 11 am.
