Full blown Stalinism is creeping back to Hungarian society [VIDEO]

Thursday, November 26, 2009

This is an instructional video for viewers don't have first hand experience about the reign of terror of the post war era; what has happened in the sixth district of Budapest, today, can give you a glimpse of the time when secrete police terrorized the population and could arrest anybody on the most trivial charges. For those who don't understand Hungarian here is the gist of the story.

The criminal and illegitimate Socialist regime coming into power by fraud and wide spread vote rigging, rushed a regulation through the parliament, banning the wear of white shirt and black vest, because it reminded people of the uniform of the New Hungarian Guard.

Zsolt Gyenge, Jobbik's representative of the sixth district municipal council, arrived in white shirt and black vest to the morning meeting of the municipal council, in order to show solidarity with the New Hungarian Guard and protest against the law coming into effect today.

As you can see in the video, the Socialist-Liberal dominated council called off the meeting and notified police; as a result, Zsolt Gyenge was arrested. It is also noteworthy that many of the ex-apparatchics that called the police on Jobbik's representative are under criminal investigation for fraud.

What you have seen in the video is not a fiction but reality. In 2009, police can arrest peaceful citizens just because wearing certain style of clothing in a country that belongs to the European Union. If you find this outrageous show this video to your friends, because today Hungary but as the world stands, tomorrow, this can happen to you too, regardless where you live.

Jobbik already challenged the legality of the law at the constitutional court.

Update
In a morning TV show, Tibor Draskovics, the Minister of Justice talked about the new dressing code. He was asked how will police determine that the style of the clothing violates the law, or it resembles to the uniform of the New Hungarian Guard. The minister said, “Just by look, later on the court will decide if the police action was legal or not”. Democracy at its finest.
