Viktor Orban has delivered a state of the nation address today, in front of an invited audience; the yearly event has become a tradition in Hungarian political life, since the first Fidesz government, in 1998.
According to Vona, Orbán's speech received outstanding reception from audiences, when he offered solutions for particular issues borrowed from Jobbik's program. It is true, as Orbán said, that the country needed strong and honest government; however, neither the Socialists nor Fidesz can set up, such a government said Vona.
Jobbik's prime ministerial candidate emphasized that the task of the next government is not only to close eight years socialists nightmare but it has to lead the nation out of the dead-end-street that the previous governments steered the country into, in the past twenty years.
Vona also asked why Orbán held Jobbik extremist. He immediately answered his own hypothetical question by saying that perhaps because, Jobbik demanding accountability from both Socialist and Fidesz political criminals. Or perhaps because Jobbik has the guts to criticize some of the issues, both the Socialists and Fidesz consider taboo; like the role of the multinational corporation, the European Union, IMF, Israel, or the issue of Gypsy crime.
According to Vona, the changes Fidesz advocates are not real changes, as the program is lacking brevity and only offers plastic surgery for the nation, rather than prospects for real recovery.
The nation doesn't need symptomatic treatment, but a real program fostering recovery; however, only Jobbik can implement such measures said Vona.
