The “Magyarok Szövetsége” (Alliance of Hungarians) released a short statement expressing its shock by finding out that one of its members, Béla Szarvas worked for the Secret Service.

In the fall of 2009, Béla Szarvas, supported a resolution aiming at the undermining the leadership of the Alliance. As a result of his activities, the Alliance did a background check to find out that Béla Szarvas worked for the Secret Service.

Béla Szarvas had comprehensive knowledge about the banking business and because of this, he got accepted by organizers working to set up a new financial institution, under the trust of the Alliance. Taking into account all the available information that came to light about the person involved in the controversy, the Alliance of Hungarians cut off all cooperation with Béla Szarvas.

The statement emphasizes that this was not the first time that certain forces tried to undermine the efforts of the Alliance to set up a new financial institution intending to finance Hungarian owned businesses. These efforts failed in the past and will fail in the future as well, summed up its statement by the Alliance.

Individuals active in the leadership of the Alliance have to swore in, in front of the Holly Crown, concludes its statement by the Alliance.
