Mass demonstration for the release of György Budaházy rescheduled

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

The new date is September 13, at 6pm. Location is still the “Kossuth tér”. Two unexpected events interfered with the earlier date -- the funeral of two members of HVIM died in a car accident and a special request from Budaházy himself.

September 13 is the beginning of the new session of the parliament. Organizers are expecting that the demonstration will be the beginning of a series of protests reminding the Fidesz government of the ongoing corruption in the justice system initiated by the Gyurcsany regime.

Several leading members of the nationalist movement will attend the demonstration in support of György Budaházy; among them: Krisztina Morvai MEP, Tamás Gaudi-Nagy and Gyula Zagyva, members of parliament; minister Lóránt Hegedűs, Adrian Magvasi, the director of Szentkorona radio, László Toroczkai, the founder of HVIM and László Tanyi, Budaházy's childhood friend.

The Romantikus Erőszak and the Historica rock bands also perform during the protest.
