Jobbik campaign film that the Hungarian Television and the “official” media refused to air

Thursday, September 23, 2010

The Hungarian Television and the rest of the official media proved once again that they are under the control of the global puppet masters and their local proxies by refusing to air the Jobbik campaign video. Officials argued that some of the catchwords in the video are carrying racist overtones; especially, the term “gypsy criminal”. They said the term “gypsy criminal” can arouse racial hatred against a visible minority. The Hungarian Television cannot air political advertisements that violating ethnic or religious affiliations of certain groups of people or employ terms that can be used to humiliate minorities.

Officials also argued that the mosquito (bloodsucker) analogy in the advertisement denotes a kind of attitude in society that can be interpreted as an offence against certain people.

The advertisement uses the analogy of the insect to expose those dark forces that are responsible for the social and moral corruption of Hungarian society – political criminals, multinational corporations and gypsy criminals.

Jobbik spokesperson, Dóra Dúró rejected the official explanation by saying that the term “gypsy criminal” has no racial overtones; it is a legal expression (like white-collar criminal or blue-collar criminal, terms that are commonly used in the American justice system).

Jobbik campaign team released a censored version of the video by bleeping out the controversial terms. However, media officials said they wouldn't air this version either, because the original already circulating the Internet and the censored version could easily be linked to the original one with the controversial phrases intact.

(Note: As a protest, I made the campaign video post sticky; until the election day, the video stays as top post).

A gypsy dismembered his brother and seasoned the body parts with herbs

The room where the murder took place

In the town of Nagymányok, a 19 year old gypsy admitted killing and dismembering his brother to police.

The grizzly murder took place in the home of the brothers -- both repeat offenders.

The younger brother attacked his older sibling with an axe while he was sleeping; then by using knife and saw, he dismembered the corps, seasoned the body parts with pepper and marjoram and hid the remains in the basement of the house, under a pile of debris.

He made a video about the remains, with the intention of watching the footage before committing suicide reported police.

The murder was detected by a friend of the victim, three days after the incident. He was visiting the deceased and noticed blood on the floor. He notified police that after arrival apprehended the suspect; first, the culprit lied about his brother's whereabout by saying he left the country; but then he confessed the crime.

Police found the decomposing remains of the 30 year old victim in the basement of the home.

The backyard of the house

According to police spokesperson, the 19 year old might have been murdered his older brother under the influence of drugs. Police said the relationship between the brothers was hostile for some time.

The victim was released from jail in January where he did time for violent offences. The 19 year old suspect still attending special elementary school grade seven and was convicted for assault and property related crimes before.

Distrust in US media at record high, according to Gallup poll

Joel Gunter – Journalism.co.uk September 30, 2010

Distrust in mass media in the US has reached a record high, having risen for the fourth year running. In a recent Gallup poll, 57 per cent of respondents said they had little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly.

The 43 per cent who answered that they had a great deal or fair amount of trust in mass media make up a joint record-low. An earlier poll, conducted by Gallup last month, suggested that trust in newspaper and television news is particularly low, with just 22 per cent saying they had quite a lot or a great deal of trust in newspapers and 25 per cent saying the same for television.

The suvey suggests a sharp decline in trust in the branches of government, with Gallup recording a record low for the legislative branch, worse than the media rating. The executive and judicial branches of government fared better but also suffered declines.

Other findings suggest that nearly half of Americans (48 per cent) think the media is too liberal, compared with just 15 per cent who think it is too conservative. Sixty-three per cent of respondents perceived bias in one direction or the other.

A recent YouGov poll of the UK found that trust in media outlets is in steep decline. The survey suggests that ‘upmarket’ newspapers (Times, Telegraph Guardian) had an approval rating of 41 per cent, ‘mid-markets’ (Mail, Express) 21 per cent, and red-tops just 10 per cent.

Dialogue on different civilizations kicks off

By Xinhua

QUFU, Shandong - Scholars from China and abroad gathered in Shandong province's Nishan city, the hometown of ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius, for a dialogue on the world's two predominant civilizations - Confucianism and Christianity - on Sunday

The first Nishan Forum on World Civilization, a two-day cultural event, initiated by Xu Jialu, vice chairman of the ninth and tenth National People's Congress, aims to strengthen equal dialogue among different civilizations and promote traditional Confucian thinking.

Some 70 experts from 11 countries are participating in the dialogue.
Today's world needs dialogue, especially dialogue among different civilizations, since many conflicts are due to "widespread misunderstanding and biases among different societies", Xu said in his keynote speech.

Xu added that nowadays countries are facing many universal problems, such as a deteriorating natural environment, social unrest and moral decay, which cannot be solved single-handedly.

"These (problems) make international dialogue and cooperation more imperative and urgent," Xu, who is the president of Nishan forum's organizing committee, said.
Domestic and overseas scholars can draw upon the legacy from Confucius and Jesus, two sages who lived 2000 years ago, in order to solve conflicts among human beings, Zhang Xiao'an, vice-president of the United Nations Association of China, told Xinhua on Saturday.

More than 170 dignitaries from around the world attended the opening ceremony of the forum, including Indonesian former president Megawati Soekarnoputri and Hungary's former prime minister Peter Medgyessy.

"It is my belief that the world order of harmony would not be achieved through the imposing of ideas and power over others, sidelining the need for dialogue. Both (the) respect for diversity and the need to (start) dialogue among diverse civilizations are mutually important if peace and harmony are being materialized," Soekarnoputri said.

Moreover, Sha Zukang, the UN under secretary-general for economic and social affairs, and former French president Jacques Chirac sent congratulatory letters to the forum.

The Nishan forum consists of four high-level meetings, eight academic sessions, one television forum and one academic plenary and is expected to climax with a Nishan Declaration of Harmony.

"I sincerely hope that this forum will act as a starting point for people with different backgrounds and faiths, to learn from each other in pursuit of a peaceful and harmonious world," said Yu Dan, professor at Beijing Normal University, who is well-known for interpreting Confucius' works on television.

(Notes: I wonder whose idea was sending Former Prime Minister Peter Meggyesi to this Forum. He was a high ranking communist official in the Kadar regime and one of the associates of chief criminal Ferenc Gyurcsany. He is not a scholar but an apparatchik and it is doubtful that he could make any meaningful contribution to the Forum attended by scholars from 11 countries. He has been also suffering from a milder form of speech impediment).

Hungarian-Canadian teen beaten to death in Vancouver

By: ctvbc.ca
Date: Tuesday Sep. 28, 2010 6:15 PM PT

Three days after 15-year-old Laura Szendrei was found dying in a Metro Vancouver park, police are still unable to give worried Delta residents any answers about what happened.

Investigators into the murder say they're not able to say whether the brutal beating was targeted or random.

"We too want to be able to reassure the public, but we have to be straightforward with them and provide the information that we can, and let them know that, at this point, we're not certain whether this was a targeted situation or if this was random," Sgt. Sharlene Brooks told CTV News.

Investigators aren't ruling out anything right now, including possible connections to previous incidents.

Police have confirmed that there were two pepper-spraying incidents at local parks on Sept. 17. Earlier this year, two women were hit from behind with a blunt object while walking or running alone in separate incidents in the community.

"There are indications that it's not linked to any other incident; however we're not discounting any possibilities at this time," Brooks said.

Police were in the air and on the ground Tuesday, hunting for clues along trails and in wooded areas in Mackie Park, where Szendrei was beaten to death on Saturday.

Nearby resident Chenoa Robertson told CTV News that the park is popular with young people.

"When I was 15 years old, me and my friends used to come and walk through there. Students cut through there all the time," she said.

Now, Robertson is too frightened to go for a run through the park.

"I don't think I'll be running anywhere."

Márton Szegedi, Jobbik mayoral candidate have been taken into custody by police

After the demonstration in Miskolc, yesterday Márton Szegedi, Jobbik mayoral candidate demonstrated how to remove socialist posters that socialist activists put up to cover up Jobbik advertisements.

Jobbik has been complaining for years by the illegal activities of the socialist crime network involved in placing their own placards over opponents advertisements in order to make them invisible. This is against the law, yet police do nothing to investigate the offenses.

Responding to the lack of police action, Márton Szegedi started a campaign aiming at the removal of the illegally displayed placards. Yesterday, he demonstrated how to do that. While demonstrating the procedure police showed up and took him into custody.

For the occasion, Jobbik released a statement condemning the police action by drawing attention to the fact that while police harassing peaceful citizens, gypsy criminals terrorizing the entire city making citizens feel unsafe even in their own homes.

UPDATE:
It is incredible! Police spokesperson said that Márton Szegedi, Jobbik mayoral candidate for Miskolc would remain in custody and would be put on a speedy trial for demonstrating how to remove an illegally displayed election poster that would have been the job of law enforcement agencies to remove, at the first place.

The idea behind the police action might have been to prevent Jobbik candidate for running on the municipal election, especially now that the election is a few days away and his support increased substantially the last couple of days.

UPDATE:
Police released Márton Szegedi, Jobbik mayoral candidate and changed the speedy trial initiative to regular legal proceeding against the accused said the spokesperson of Borsod county court.

The legal proceeding against Szegedi will continue on October 27.

Another week another gypsy criminal has been arrested somewhere in the world – this time in Mexico

Photo: Acento21

Mexican police arrested a Hungarian Gypsy couple and their son for kidnapping and forcing a model into prostitution.

The couple – József Lendvai and Ildikó Sípos – held the model in a hotel forcing her to establish sexual relationship with hand-picked clients. During the sexual intercourse the family stood guard in front of the hotel preventing the model from runnig away.

Finally, one of the clients notified police that freed the hostage and arrested the couple and their son who was still a minor when the crime was committed.

(Note: The Hungarian mainstream media keep quiet about the case. If any Spanish speaking person reads this site and has relevant information about the case, please leave a massage at the comments section so that we can learn more information about the case because Hungarian mainstream media outlets don't report it in order to cover up the identities of the criminals. About 500 people demonstrated in Miskolc to remember the innocent victims of gypsy crime.

The demonstration was organized by Jobbik's Miskolc branch; several Jobbik representatives and sympathizers participated in the protest and addressed to the people; among them Csanád Szegedi MEP, János Volner, member of the Hungarian Parliament and Orosz Mihály Zoltán, the mayor of Érpatak.

Csanád Szegedi reiterated Jobbik's position on gypsy crime by saying that removing gypsy criminals from Miskolc and relocating them into protected areas is the only solution for the city that has been loosing its population faster than any time before. Miskolc getting unlivable because of the deteriorating law and order situation that impacts the economic health of the once striving city.

Szegedi criticized the Fidesz government by saying that during the Bajnai administration more criminals were tried than during the Fidesz government.

The next week, Szegedi will start a project called “Adopt a gypsy family” (Fogadj örökbe egy cigány családot!); he would like to see Prime Minister Orbán adopting one gypsy family in his Rózsadomb villa; the ironic remark was addressed to the prime minister who denied the existence of gypsy crime in his latest speech to parliament.

Márton Szegedi, Jobbik mayoral candidate for Miskolc said if elected he would make a prosperous city out of the decaying municipality.

Orosz Mihály Zoltán, the mayor of Érpatak urged everybody to vote for Jobbik in the upcoming municipal election.

Orosz Mihály Zoltán became famous nation wide as he single-handedly cleaned his municipality up of gypsy criminals.

After the speeches demonstrators marched from the Szent István tér to downtown Miskolc and laid flowers at the “Innocent Victims of Gypsy Crime Memorial” supporters of Jobbik set up, temporarily, for the occasion.

Appeal rejected

Jobbik filed a complaint with the Electoral Commission because the Hungarian Radio and Television stations refused to air its campaign video. As it was reported earlier, the mainstream media refused Jobbik's advertisements on the ground of racism that supposedly, embedded in the various catchwords and analogies of the advertisement.

Not surprisingly, the Electoral Commission rejected the appeal.

It seems that the MSZP, LMP and Fidesz formed a common front against Jobbik to prevent party's messages getting to the electorate.

The fact that Fidesz joined forces with the two treasonous parties might evolve into a major crisis within the party, as soon as Fidesz voters start realizing the deception inherent in the party's policies.

Lots of honest but naive folks are supporting Fidesz, however, the people don't realize that their favorite party is a captive of global forces, just like most governments around the world; as such, it doesn't have the freedom to implement policies that would dramatically improve the lives of citizens.

The problem of gypsy crime is among the most important questions that needs to be solved before it develops into a major emergency. Everybody, except the dimwitted knows that the solution to the problem of gypsy crime would be segregation. I'm sure that even the leaders of Fidesz acknowledge this privately; but they have to deny the obvious publicly, because of the known reasons -- the global power made the subject taboo.

Jobbik is the only party that openly challenges the taboo of gypsy crime; refusing to join to the rest of the political establishment and honor the taboo invited all the hatred of the global power and its local proxies camouflaging themselves as Roma rights activists.

In human history, I cannot recall a single case when incompatible cultures merged and the result was positive; when it happened, it always hastened the disintegration of the host society. This explains why the phenomenon of gypsy crime became taboo – it is used as a weapon to destroy the nation-states of Europe. The problem of gypsy crime is not a racial issue, as the puppet masters would like people to believe; it is a cultural question.

“...of all the great hybrid unions that breed furious release of energy and change, there is none to surpass the meeting of literate and oral cultures. The giving to man of an eye for an ear by phonetic literacy is, socially and politically, probably the most radical explosion that can occur in any social structure”. (Marshall McLuhan)

This is exactly what Hungarians (and in fact, every nation with sizable gypsy or emigrant population) are experiencing living side by side with gypsies. Thievery, robbery, murder are common occurrences in towns with mixed population. Integrating gypsies or any ethnic groups into mainstream society can be done gradually, rather then flooding homogeneous societies with large number of aliens. Otherwise, the experiment will lead to social explosion with unforeseeable consequences.

Former Supreme Court Justice, Miklós Völgyesi said judges should be held criminally responsible for the 2006 atrocities

According to Miklós Völgyesi, there are signs that judges might have followed orders of higher authorities when allowed the arrest of hundreds of people without reviewing evidence provided by police during the 2006 demonstrations.

Today, Miklós Völgyesi appears in front of the parliamentary committee investigating the abuse of power by police and other law enforcement agencies during the 2006 rioting. He gives a letter to the committee he had written to Chief Justice Zoltan Lomniczi regarding the abuse of power by police and the unlawful arrests approved by judges.

Völgyesi suggested that judges should be held criminally responsible for allowing arrests without reviewing evidence presented by police during the 2006 crackdown.

In other news, Hir TV interviewed a retired prison guard that revealed widespread torture that took place in the various correctional institutions, in 2006. In the report the former prison guard described different methods of torturing detainees by prison guards. One of the procedures involved handcuffing prisoners to each other and making them kneel facing towards the wall. If a detainee moved due to fatigue, he was beaten up by prison guards. If someone complained about the brutal treatment, he was undressed and humiliated in front of other prisoners. There were several older people among the detainees, both men and women; some of them couldn't take the pain imposed upon them and broke down by urinating on themselves. According to the retired prison guard, the abuse of power and the torture of prisoners took place by the approval of the higher authorities of the correctional institution.

The atrocities were recorded by security cameras of the prison; but the evidence was deleted from the servers 72 hours later because "no one had filed a lawsuit or complained within that time frame" against prison authorities involved in the torture. Prisons obliged to keep digital materials for 72 hours.

The following days prison guards had been given a thank you party on taxpayers expenses by the correctional institution, in a restaurant in the town of Pilisszentkereszt.

Obviously, what happened in 2006, in the different government offices and law enforcement agencies is one of the most sinister intimidation efforts in post-communist times by a criminal regime that came into power by vote rigging. The emerging evidence shows a massive cover up effort by law enforcement agencies involved in the abuse of power, which includes the justice system. The abuse of power by the illegitimate Gyurcsany regime in 2006, might go down in history as one of the most atrocious criminal acts committed by the government against its own people since the 1956 revolution.

“It sounds good but it is untrue” reacted Máriusz Révész to the remarks of Budapest Chief Justice Sándor Ihász

Member of parliament, Máriusz Révész assaulted by police in 2006

Budapest Chief Justice Sándor Ihász said to the parliament investigation committee that there were no politically motivated decisions by the judiciary during the 2006 police crackdown. In 2006, corrupt judges approved the arrest and torture of hundreds of innocent people without even seeing the detainees by simply accepting the evidence of Gyurcsany thugs.

During the court proceedings most of these cases were thrown out of the court by lack of evidence. This shows that judges indeed were, at least, co-responsible for the abuse of power by the Gyurcsany regime and its police force.

Ihász said internal investigation couldn't find any evidence of wrongdoings related to the illegal arrests of hundreds of innocent people.

It is an open secret that some of the judges working in the Hungarian justice system socialized during the Kadar era and their loyalty can be traced back to Gyurcsany and his partners in crime that were responsible for the 2006 police atrocities.

Tamás Gaudi Nagy, member of the parliamentary committee said it was sad that Budapest Chief Justice Sándor Ihász rejected even the possibility to investigate the role of judges in the 2006 police crackdown.

None of the members of the judiciary questioned by the committee showed remorse or expressed regret for assisting the Gyurcsany regime to carry out one of the most atrocious violation of the law in post-communist times.

The miraculous metamorphosis of a hardcore gypsy criminal

Érpatak is not only a town but a phenomenon that everyone should study to get a better understanding about gypsies and ways of dealing with them by using formulas they understand.

Here is a bit of background information about the small town and its mayor that did amazing things in the past couple of years -- single handedly cleaned the town up of gypsy criminals making the municipality livable again. More than that, most gypsies threw their support behind the mayor by noticing improvements in the quality of their lives. This is bad news, indeed, for liberal extremist and other traitors tacitly supporting gypsy crime.

Here is the recap of the story, which is one of the most amazing account I've heard in recent years. It is about a 52 year old repeat offender called Pál Kóka who spent 24 years in jail; after doing his time, he got a chance from the mayor of Érpatak to start a new life. It seems incredible but this hard core criminal accepted the mayor's offer and started doing community work rather then applying for welfare (which was one of the chief requirement) to make a living. Now, he earns minimum salary allowing him and his family to make a decent living and be able to break out of the circle of poverty and crime.

The participation in the community work project bestowed a sense of dignity on Pál Kóka and his family; in the video interview, his wife talks proudly about her chickens and ducks she has been raising to show it is possible to make a living outside of crime.

Pál Kóka's daughter-in-law who is 24 years old looking for work, as well.

Pál Kóka's story is extraordinary, especially if you take into account that he spent half of his life in jail. But as the example shows, with competence and diligence even hardcore criminals can be changed.

He said all gypsies should follow his example and start working. Most gypsies in town agree with him but some who still prefer the criminal lifestyle call him a traitor; this however, doesn't bother Pál Kóka and his family.

Jobbik's proposals to solve gypsy crime are similar to the measures the mayor of Érpatak has already implemented in his municipality. The mayor of Érpatak found the language gypsies understand and use this language to communicate the message of hope that even common criminals understand.

Jobbik's proposals to remove gypsy criminals from municipalities and set up residential schools for their children are winning formulas. It wouldn't be out of the extraordinary if gypsies themselves would support them, because for their children the residential schools system is the only way out of poverty and crime. This is why liberal hate mongers are screaming like crazy and threatening everyone who is sympathizing with the proposals.

The root cause of Hungary's economic problem is parasitism

The Kossuth street Cultural Center in Debrecen was full to the brim with people waiting for Gábor Vona to deliver a speech. But first, Tibor Ágoston Jobbik's mayoral candidate stepped on stage to introduce candidates running in the upcoming municipal election; then Gábor Vona spoke to his supporters.

In his speech, he said it was not the lack of talent of Hungarians that caused the current economic crisis, but parasitism.

Vona distinguished three main categories of bloodsuckers: politicians, global businesses and gypsies.

Brood parasite is a common form of parasitism

He then criticized Fidesz for calling the party's landslide election victory in April a revolution (Fidesz politicians like to call their victory a revolution that took place in the polling booths). Vona posed a question to his audience: how could Fidesz call that a revolution when the main culprits responsible for the crisis are still at large? Unlike, in Iceland where those responsible for bankrupting the country have already been arrested.

According to Vona, pretentious Fidesz politicians in parliament patting themselves on the back for winning the election. But the truth is that their success was, in a large extent, the result of a protest vote against the disastrous policy of the Gyurcsany regime. There are indications that Fidesz won't bring Gyurcsany and his accomplices to justice, anytime soon said Vona.

On a humorous side note on gypsies Vona said Jobbik would introduce a bill in parliament making mandatory for politicians to do field work in gypsy neighborhoods (most gypsy rights activists have never met a gypsy in real time, only on TV screens or in cyberspace).

Today is the world premier of the chain-less Hungarian developed bicycle

Saturday, September 18, 2010

A new Hungarian developed chain-less bike debuts today in Padova, Italy. The bike has been developed by a team of designers at the Schwinn Csepel Zrt..

Here is the technical description of the chain-less bike called Stringbike.

The bicycle has a new driving system using steel wires instead of chains, which has the following main units:

Pedal. This is basically identical with those of conventional bikes. Respective pedals are arranged at either side of the frame, and the cyclist rotates the two pedals around a central pivoted axis.

Eccentric discs. The pedal axis rotates these discs at both sides of the frame. The discs has a specific, kidney like shape which determines the driving characteristic i.e. the angular displacement of the rear wheel of the bicycle as a function of the angular position of the pedal shaft. The chosen shape provides for a conventional driving characteristic i.e. the same as if a chain-driven bike with circular gears were used. In a more expensive model the discs can be changed with other ones having different shapes, whereby the driving characteristic can be changed in a tour or in a contest, to load different muscle groups.

The swinging unit, comprising a pair of oppositely swinging arms arranged for swinging movement around a pivoted auxiliary axis. The rotation of the eccentric discs results in the swinging movement of the arms in forward and backward direction.

Transmission (speed) changer. This unit is a controlled slide. It changes the longitudinal position (height) of respective pulleys guided along the swinging arms. The height of the two pulleys is always the same. When the pulley is in the outermost position, the transmission ratio is at maximum, while in the innermost position this ratio is at minimum.

Rear shaft unit comprises respective freewheels at each side. The outer surface of the free wheels defines respective cable drums.

Wires interconnecting the respective cable drums with the pulleys. One end of each wire is attached to the cable drum and the other one to the frame.

Cable biasing means, which is a double cable reel arranged at the upper portion of the rear fork, just oppositely relative to the rear brake. The two reels are spring biased to each other, and they hold thin biasing wires wound around the respective cable drums. The role of this means is to keep the pulling wires always under tension.

Properties of the new bicycle

1. Possibility of changing the driving characteristics by changing the discs. Since the possibility of using different driving characteristics freely has been provided by this new chainless bicycle, it will be the question of further tests and experiments to determine which kinds of characteristic are ideal for different driving and terrain conditions. With our model that uses a normal driving characteristic, the driving under different fields is just as in case of usual bicycles.

2. Changing the transmission ratio at any time. At almost every moment one of the two wires does not transmit large forces, it is exposed only to the biasing force. This enables the continuous or quasi-continuous change of the transmission ratio under high load and also in stationary position when the pedals are not turned. By this property a skilled rider can overcome curly streets with a higher speed as if he had a conventional bicycle, since he has a fast and free control of the transmission ratio, and the manipulation itself cannot take his attention away from his driving task.

3. The steel wires do not slip, the driver cannot feel that there is any delay or slip between the movement of the pedal and of the bike.

4. Due to the new design there are no gear wheels and chain, there are no contaminating parts in the driving system, such as the usual soiling of clothing with oil.

5. The rear wheel can be disassembled from the frame without any difficulty, the removal of the rear wheel does not affect the wiring and the driving system. Disassembling takes only a few seconds.

6. The previous properties enable transportation of the bicycle in a minimised space i.e. with removed front and rear wheels. The bicycle is so clean that it can well be placed either in the trunk or in the rear compartment of most cars, since the frame is not too large without the two wheels. While this was impossible with conventional bicycles, since the chain was dirty and the removal of the rear wheel required the disassembly of the chain which was a time-consuming operation.

7. A further advantage is that the attachment position of the strings on each side need not be identical. This allows asymmetric loading of the legs. Since no one has identical joints and muscles on both legs, if one has a weaker leg, a lighter load can be applied. Alternatively, if one wished to load a leg more during training, this may also be done easily. This is not possible with conventional bicycles.

8. From the point of view of marketing, the funny form and mode of operation of the bicycle can offer a huge marketing potential. The almost unchanged form of bicycles might have bored people in the last several decades. This new form may well become into the focus of attention and become fashionable. In this aspect the interesting dynamic of the movement is very attractive.

9. The lifetime of components, especially that of the wires can be longer than in case of chains and wheels, which are exposed to wear and abrasion.

10. The number of components can be less than in case of a conventional bicycle with several front and rear gears. Following an initial training period, the manufacturing costs can go below to those of conventional bicycles if the production can be organised in a sufficiently large scale.

The Dalai Lama arrived in Hungary

The Dalai Lama's airplane touched down in Budapest on Friday afternoon. This is the Dalai Lama's seventh visit in the country.

During his stay, the religious leader of Tibet will lecture on several locations, among others in the “Papp László Budapest Sportaréna” where 22500 tickets have been sold out. His speeches can be followed on the Internet as well.

In an interview with Hir TV, his holiness talked about the 1956 revolution that shocked him to the core; he felt sympathy with the freedom fighters despite the distance that separated him from the events.

The spokesperson of his Geneva office said his holiness' visit had three purposes: promote human values in society, help the understanding among the various religions and champion the case of Tibet.

The religious leader of Tibet arrived in Hungary for the invitation of the Hungarian-Tibetan Friendship Association and several Hungarian Buddhist orders.

DAC football fans surprised three schools in Felvidék with national symbols

Friday, September 17, 2010

Yellow Blue Supporters and the “Felvidéki Harcosok” football fans association in Dunaszerdahely surprised three schools with Hungarian national symbols.

The schools that received the gifts are the “Kodály Zoltán Magyar Tanítási Nyelvű Alapiskola” and the “Szent János egyházi iskola”. The principal of the “Kodály Zoltán Magyar Tanítási Nyelvű Alapiskola”, Ibolya Olivér said he was happy that the football fans came up with such an excellent idea. These symbols are the true representations of our national identity said the principal.

Aranyossy Teodóra, the principal of the “Szent János egyházi iskola”, was also thankful when accepting the gifts.

The first school that received gifts from the football fans was the “Vámbéry Ármin Magyar Tannyelvű Alapiskola”. The fans presented the gift to the school on September 10; principal, Masszi János, promised to display the poster in the classroom.

The football fans organized a donation drive to find the money needed to pay for the gifts.

All three schools said besides the large ones they also needed smaller posters that could be displayed in the classrooms. The fans promised they will get them as soon as possible.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán: a 180 degree turn on economic policy is needed

At the European People's Party meeting in Budapest, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said 180 degree turn in economic policy is needed in Hungary. There is a need for strict rules that could be used against speculative enterprises, in the mean time easing financial burden on value producing businesses.

It is absolutely necessary to build an economy based on reality rather than utopias. “This way we can avoid getting into similar crisis in the future. The political and economic utopias, we have been living up until now, collapsed; reality shattered them... and now, we have found ourselves in the rubble,” said the prime minister.

Hopefully, the neo-liberal economic and financial policy will be the last painful experiment in our lives. Neo-liberalism advocating the omnipotence of market forces and makes people believe that it is possible to build prosperous economy without producing values said the prime minister. The current global crisis is the result of the bursting this bubble. The European Union already sensing the need of a paradigm shift in economic policy said the prime minister.

Fidesz is determined to rebuild the country on the basis of reality said Orbán. If reality offers hope, than people will chose reality rather than utopias said the prime minister.

Jobbik introduces a new public safety bill in parliament to improve law and order situation in the country

Gábor Vona confirmed that the party will introduce a public safety bill in the fall session of parliament that will incorporate ideas about establishing designated areas for dangerous criminals and residential schools for gypsy children.

Jobbik considers the designated camps for dangerous offenders a short term solution to the problem of dealing with the deteriorating law and order situation. However, the proposal of establishing a residential school system for gypsy children would be a long term solution of integrating gypsies in Hungarian society said Vona.

According to the proposal, the residential school system would be jointly run by municipalities, the church and the government said Vona.

The idea of designated camps for criminals introduced into public awareness by Csanád Szegedi, a few weeks ago; according to Szegedi, the first such camp would be set up in Miskolc.

The precise definition of the new concepts introduced into public debate by Jobbik officials are still under discussion in the party --just like the location and the functioning of the camps that are also need further clarification.

Vona said the primary purpose of introducing these ideas into public consciouses was to start a debate in society about solutions of integrating gypsies in society.

Vona said rumors suggesting that entire families would be relocated into the camps are baseless. Only criminals that are proven to be dangerous for the every day functioning of the community would be eligible for these measures.

It would be the task of local officials to pinpoint who those particular criminal elements are. Municipal officials and police should work hand in hand to expose those criminals and remove them from local communities.

Doctors and Animals Alike Tell Us: Avoid Genetically Modified Food

Wednesday, September 15, 2010

by Jeffrey M. Smith

The farmer grinned as he told the visitor, “Watch this!” He called his pigs, which ran frantically towards him to be fed. But when he scooped out corn and threw it on the ground, the pigs sniffed it and then looked up at the farmer with confused expectation. The farmer then scooped corn from another bin and flung it near the pigs, which ran over and quickly devoured it.

The farmer said, “The first corn is genetically engineered. They won’t touch it.”
It’s not just pigs that swear off genetically modified organisms (GMOs). In South Africa, Strilli Oppenheimer’s chickens won’t eat genetically modified (GM) corn. Most buffalo in Haryana, India, refuse cottonseed cakes if made from GM cotton plants. Geese migrating through Illinois only munched sections of the soybean field that was non-GMO. When given a choice, elk, deer, raccoons, and rats all avoided GMOs. And even during the coldest days of Iowa winter, squirrels, which regularly devour natural corn, refused to touch the GM variety.
One skeptical farmer who read about the squirrels wanted to see for himself if it was true. He bought a bag full of GM corn ears, and another of non-GM, and left them in his garage till winter. But by the time he fetched the bags, mice had done the experiment for him. They broke into the natural corn bag and finished it; the GM cobs were untouched.

Doctors prescribe no GMOs

No one knows why the animals refuse GMOs, but according to a 2009 statement by the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM), when lab animals do eat GM feed, it’s not pretty. “Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food,” says the AAEM policy paper, which specifically cited infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system, among the impacts of eating GMOs. “There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects,” they wrote. “There is causation…”
Although we humans don’t have a natural sense to stay away from GM foods, AAEM’s position indicates that we should take a lesson from the animals. This renowned medical organization, which first recognized such dangers as food allergies, chemical sensitivity, and Gulf War Syndrome, called on all physicians to prescribe non-GMO diets to all patients.¹ They also called for a moratorium on GMOs, long-term independent studies, and labeling.
Former AAEM President Dr. Jennifer Armstrong says, “Physicians are probably seeing the effects in their patients, but need to know how to ask the right questions.” Renowned biologist Dr. Pushpa M. Bhargava and many others believe that GMOs may be a major contributor to the deteriorating health in America since GM foods were introduced in 1996.

GMOs on your plate

There are eight GM food crops: soy, corn, cotton, canola, sugar beets, Hawaiian papaya, and a little bit of zucchini and yellow squash. The two primary reasons why plants are engineered are to allow them to either drink poison, or produce poison.
Poison drinkers are called herbicide tolerant. Their DNA is outfitted with bacterial genes that allow them to survive otherwise deadly doses of toxic herbicide. The first five crops on the list above have herbicide tolerant varieties. The poison producers are called Bt crops. Inserted genes from the soil bacterium Bacillus Thuringiensis produce an insect-killing pesticide called Bt-toxin in every cell of the plant. That is found in corn and cotton. The papaya and squashes have virus genes inserted, to fight off a plant virus. All GM crops are linked to dangerous side effects.

Pregnant women and babies at great risk

GM foods are particularly dangerous for pregnant women and children. After GM soy was fed to female rats, most of their babies died—compared to a 10% deaths among controls fed natural soy.² GM-fed babies were smaller, and possibly infertile.³
Testicles of rats fed GM soy changed from the normal pink to dark blue.⁴ Mice fed GM soy had altered young sperm.⁵ Embryos of GM soy-fed parent mice had changed DNA.⁶ And mice fed GM corn had fewer, and smaller, babies.⁷
In Haryana, India, most of those buffalo that did consume GM cottonseed ended up with reproductive complications such as premature deliveries, abortions, and infertility; many calves died. About two dozen US farmers said thousands of pigs became sterile from certain GM corn varieties. Some had false pregnancies; others gave birth to bags of water. Cows and bulls also became infertile.⁸

Eating poison in every bite

When insects take a bite out of the corn and cotton plants engineered to produce Bt-toxin, their stomach splits open and they die. Because that same toxin is used in its natural bacterial state as a spray by farmers for insect control, biotech companies claim that it has a history of safe use and can be incorporated directly into every plant cell.
The Bt-toxin produced in GM plants, however, is thousands of times more concentrated than natural Bt spray, is designed to be more toxic,⁹ has properties of an allergen, and cannot be washed off the plant.
Moreover, studies confirm that even the less toxic natural spray can be harmful. When dispersed by plane to kill gypsy moths in Washington and Vancouver, about 500 people reported allergy or flu-like symptoms.¹⁰, ¹¹ The same symptoms are now reported by thousands of farm workers from handling Bt cotton throughout India.¹²

GMOs provoke immune reactions

GMO safety expert Dr. Arpad Pusztai says changes in immune status are “a consistent feature of all the [animal] studies.”¹³ From Monsanto’s own research to government funded trials, rodents fed Bt corn had significant immune reactions.¹⁴, ¹⁵
Soon after GM soy was introduced to the UK, soy allergies skyrocketed by 50%. Ohio allergist Dr. John Boyles says “I used to test for soy allergies all the time, but now that soy is genetically engineered, it is so dangerous that I tell people never to eat it.”
GM soy, corn, and papaya contain new proteins with allergenic properties.¹⁶ In addition, GM soy has up to seven times more of a known soy allergen.¹⁷ Perhaps the US epidemic of food allergies and asthma is a casualty of genetic manipulation.

Animals dying in large numbers

In India, animals graze on cotton plants after harvest. But when shepherds let sheep graze on Bt cotton plants, thousands died. Investigators said preliminary evidence “strongly suggests that the sheep mortality was due to a toxin…most probably Bt-toxin.”¹⁸ In one small study, all sheep fed Bt cotton plants died; those fed natural plants remained healthy.
In an Andhra Pradesh village, buffalo grazed on cotton plants for eight years without incident. On January 3rd, 2008, 13 buffalo grazed on Bt cotton plants for the first time. All died within three days.¹⁹ Bt corn is also implicated in the deaths of cows in Germany, and horses, water buffaloes, and chickens in The Philippines.²⁰
In lab studies, twice the number of chickens fed Liberty Link corn died; 7 of 40 rats fed a GM tomato died within two weeks.²¹ Those rats had refused to eat the tomato and had to be force fed.

Worst finding of all—GMOs remain inside of us

The only published human feeding study revealed that even after we stop eating GMOs, harmful GM proteins may be produced continuously inside of us; genes inserted into GM soy transfer into bacteria inside our intestines and continue to function.²² If Bt genes also transfer, eating GM corn chips might transform our intestinal bacteria into living pesticide factories.

Warnings by government scientists ignored and denied

According to documents released from a lawsuit, in 1991–92 scientists at the FDA repeatedly warned that GM foods might create allergies, poisons, new diseases, and nutritional problems.²³ But the White House ordered the agency to promote biotechnology, and Michael Taylor, Monsanto’s former attorney, headed up the FDA’s GMO policy. That 1992 policy—still in effect today—declares that no safety studies on GMOs are required. Monsanto and other producers determine if their foods are safe. Taylor later became Monsanto’s vice president, and was reinstalled at the FDA in 2009 by the Obama administration as the US Food Safety Czar.

Opting out as guinea pigs

Biologist Dr. David Schubert of the Salk Institute says, “If there are problems [with GMOs], we will probably never know because the cause will not be traceable and many diseases take a very long time to develop.” In the 9 years after GM crops were introduced in 1996, Americans with three or more chronic diseases jumped from 7% to 13%.²⁴ Allergies doubled in less time. And the incidence of low birth weight babies, infertility, and infant mortality are all escalating. But without any human clinical trials or post marketing surveillance, we may never know if these or other disorders like autism, obesity, and diabetes, are triggered or made worse by GMOs.
We don’t need to wait for more research to learn our lesson from the animals and the doctors. Consult the Non-GMO Shopping Guide (www.NonGMOShoppingGuide.com) to learn how to avoid GMOs. Even a small percentage of people choosing non-GMO brands could force the food industry to remove all GM ingredients. By doing so, you are not only being careful about your own health, you are being compassionate to the environment and future generations—since GMOs wreak long-term havoc in our ecosystem as well.

Ecuadorian triathlon athlete stabbed to death in Budapest [Update: The murderer is a gypsy]

Police was notified at 2:10 in the early morning hours that in the sixth district of Budapest an individual was lying on the sidewalk bleeding. Ambulance took the 48 year old man to hospital but the critically wounded victim's life couldn't be saved; he later died in hospital. Police looking for an unknown assailant.

The Triathlon World Championship organizing committee confirmed that the victim was a member of the Ecuadorian triathlon team participating in the sport event.

Update:
At a news brief, police confirmed the arrest of a 33 year old man who is accused of stabbing a 48 year old Ecuadorian triathlon athlete to death.

According to police there was an argument between a woman and the athlete that triggered the incident. The accused, who is a repeat offender, stabbed the athlete several times and left him dying on the sidewalk. Police spokesperson said the victim and the accused didn't know each other.

Currently, police are questioning the woman who was involved in the incident to learn her role in the murder case.

As some sources pointed out the female companion of the Ecuadorian athlete might have been a prostitute and the accused was a pimp running a prostitution ring. (Notes: If this appears to be true, there are reasons to believe that the accused is a gypsy since these businesses are generally run by gypsies).

Update:
It turned out that the victim was a New Zealand citizen living in Ecuador and his name was Warwick John White. The information has been confirmed by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Update:
Sources carefully examining the videos confirmed that the murderer was a gypsy. The hooker's face shown in TV, even if partially covered, shows her ethnic features.

The picture taken by a video camera in a grocery store shows the victim in the front, behind him the gypsy murderer and the hooker on his right.

Unfortunately, foreigners are misled by Hollywood movies romanticizing gypsies lifestyle and their criminal culture, covertly supported by global forces.

It cannot be said enough times: if visiting the country stay away from gypsies, especially from those working in the sex business run by brutal gypsy criminals ready to kill for the most trivial disagreement.

Update:
Today, Magyar Hirlap, a mainstream media outlet confirmed what unofficial sources already knew – the murderer of the Ecuadorian triathlon athlete was a gypsy.

„Az életvédelmi osztály nyomozói nem sokkal később elfogták a 33 éves, roma származású futtatót, aki ellen korábban súlyos testi sértés, hivatalos személy elleni erőszak és életveszélyt okozó testi sértés miatt indult eljárás. A gyilkosság idején jelen lévő, szintén roma prostituáltat a rendőrség tanúként hallgatta meg, szerepének tisztázása folyamatban van.”

(Later, detectives arrested the 33 year old gypsy pimp that already did time in jail for aggravated assault, attacking law enforcement officers and initiating violent attack causing life-threatening injuries. The gypsy prostitute that was present during the murder has been questioned by police for her role in the incident).
