“Korona Kávé és Teaház” (Crown Coffee and Tea House) – a new place for patriotic Hungarians to mix and mingle

Friday, February 3, 2012

In the video, owner László Csikós explains what was the idea behind the opening of the café in the heart of Budapest. As the “Nemzeti Kávézó” (National Café) closed down no other quality entertainment outlet remained in Budapest for patriotic Hungarians to mix and mingle with one other. The “Korona Kávé és Teaház” fills this much needed gap.

The beverages include brewed coffee and tea from around the world. Naturally, guests can enjoy unique Hungarian bear and wine products, especially from the Szekszárd wine-producing region. In addition, customers can buy quality clothing items made from 100% Hungarian made materials.

The coffee shop opened on January 17, in downtown Budapest: Location: 1062 Budapest, Andrássy út 54 (Eötvös Street side entrance). Fully bilingual.
