The head-coach of Hungary women's national handball team Karl Erik Bohn diagnosed with Leukemia

The head-coach of Hungary women's national handball team Karl Erik Bohn will undergo treatment in Norway in the next six months.

The Hungarian Handball Federation said in a statement on Wednesday that the very popular Karl Erik Bohn under whose direction Hungary women's national handball team won bronze medal last year's European Championship will start medical treatment in Oslo immediately, which lasts until the summer.

During this period, he will continue to work on strategic planning and analytic work preparing the Hungarian national team says the statement.

Daily practical coaching duties have been taken over by second trainer Bea Siti who will be responsible for coaching the team until Bohn's full recovery.
