Deputy-Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén arrives at Kézdivásárhely national holiday celebration on horseback

Despite the cold weather, falling snow, and strong wind Székely Hungarians in Kézdivásárhely celebrated the national holiday in festive mood. One of the main attractions of the event was Hungarian Deputy-Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén who has arrived to the celebration on horseback dressed in “Bocskai” uniform.

Followed by members of he Sixty-four Counties Youth Movement (HVIM) carrying a big Hungarian flag.

In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén said communities, and ethnic minorities have basic rights guaranteed by the European Union, and Romanian-speaking citizens have to understand this. We don't ask unusual things, only the basic human rights of the Hungarian community. So when we are demanding our freedom, we are demanding our basic human rights said Semjén.
