PM Viktor Orbán ingurated the Budapest Music Center

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán inaugurated the Budapest Music Center in the eleventh district Saturday night. The “Mátyás” Street building incorporates a concert hall, a music library, an information center, classrooms, several studios, and restaurants.

In a speech the prime minister emphasized the importance of music as an avenue for the "Hungarian genius" to interact with the world. The prime minister stressed that the Budapest Music Center is a joint project of Hungarian musicians, founder László Gőz and the Hungarian government.

The Hungarian government contributed HUF 500 million to the private project that cost HUF 2.5 billion.
