Sixteen year-old judoka Szabina Gercsák wins gold medal at European Cadet Championships in Kiev

The youngest member of the Hungarian national judo team, 16 year-old Szabina Gercsák won gold medal in 63 kg weight class at European Cadet Championships in Kiev.

The athlete of Hell-Miskolc dojo by defeating an Ukrainian, Belarusian, Croatian, Italian and German opponent won the tournament.


This is Gercsák's second European Cup gold medal this year; three weeks ago in Zagreb, she also won gold medal and currently leads European rankings in the cadet category.

Besides Gercsák, Lotti Miskolczi and Kincső Mihalovics won bronze medal at the same tournament.
