Trading House opens in Moscow

Monday, April 22, 2013

"One of the key pillars of the Hungarian government's eastern policy is to strengthen Russian-Hungarian bilateral relations” said Government Commissioner for Hungarian-Russian Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó in Moscow on Monday after opening the first Hungarian trading house in the Russian capital in cooperation with the Questor Group.

The trading house includes an investment and business center and a warehouse base; it will function as an investment and business consultation center and perform commercial and tourism related activities.

The main government objective is to establish Hungary as one of the chief production centers of Europe, but our products have to be sold too; one of the main economic policy tasks of the government is to find market for Hungarian industrial and agricultural products and reestablish the trade balance in Russian-Hungarian relations said Szijjártó.

The commissioner also held talks with the leaders of Magnit enterprise, which is Russia's largest food retail chain with hundreds of stores across the country.
