Central European Legal Forum will be held next year in Budapest jointly organized by Hungary and Russia

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Justice Tibor Navracsics held talks in St. Petersburg with his Russian counterpart Vladimirovich Konovalov today.

The two sides agreed that in the first half of 2014 the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum – which is currently holding its 2013 session – will hold its regional Central European conference in Budapest, jointly organized by Hungary and Russia.

Mr. Konovalov praised the huge advances the two countries have made in developing strong bilateral relations including close cooperation on the judicial field; experts managed to close several outstanding issues in the field of justice that paved the way for further strengthening of partnership between the two countries in 2013 and beyond concluded the minister..

The Russian minister also praised the Hungarian reforms and the country's foreign policies ensuring the Hungarian delegation of Russia's fully support.
