Chinese Culture week and martial arts tournament in Budaörs – Shaolin Kung Fu show and Taiko drum concert at the opening day

Chinese Culture week and martial arts tournament kick off June 1 and continues all the way until the 15th of June in Budaörs Town Hall.

Practitioners of any style of Wushu and Sanda can compete at the tournament. Those who wish to compete in the Shaolin kung fu category must be members of the Hungarian or International Chan Wu Federation said the president of the organizing committee Tamás Balykó-Bitai.



Several countries have already expressed interest in the tournament indicating their willingness to take part in the competition. The patron of the tournament is Secretary of State Responsible for Sports István Simicskó.

Besides the martial arts programs, visitors can view a Chinese calligraphy and a traditional weapon exhibition, in addition, they can listen to lectures on traditional tea ceremony and Chinese medicine.
