József Mónus sets new world record at Turkish Bow Shooting Championships

József Mónus set new world record at the Turkish Bow Shooting Championships in Gümüshaciköy in long-range shooting category with a shooting distance of 467-meter by using a 50 pound-limit tensile strength home made bow.

Athletes from 14 countries participated in the traditional bow-shooting tournament.

Besides Mónus, three more Hungarians won medals at the tournament -- Szilárd Terman won bronze and in the junior category Donát Posta won silver and Csongor Posta won bronze medal.
