Captive nations won't send representatives for Iranian President-elect Hassan Rouhani's inaugural ceremony

Thirteen heads of state and prime minister attend Iranian President-elect Hassan Rouhani's inaugural ceremony on August 4; not one western nation dared to accept the invitation to attend the ceremony reported the Iranian Mehr news agency on Tuesday.

Tehran has sent an invitation to every country in the world. Only the leaders of thirteen countries will attend the ceremony including Armenia, Afghanistan, Guinea-Bissau, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Togo as well as the prime ministers of Swaziland and Syria. Azerbaijan, Algeria, North Korea, and the Republic of Congo will be represented by the speaker of their Parliaments. In addition, six foreign ministers also announced their intention to attend the inaugural ceremony.
