Hungarian invention in cancer therapy

The Journal of Science Translational Medicine published a study about Zoltán Takáts' invention on Wednesday. The smart knife - or, as the study calls it iKnife provides real time information on the chemical characteristics of the tissue samples indicating whether they contain cancer cells. This significantly speeds up biological cell analysis assisting physicians during operation to fully remove all cancer cells from the body.
