She didn't survive the second robbery

Pécs County Court sentenced two gypsies twenty years in prison and life imprisonment for the robbery murder of a 71 year old woman in 2010 in the municipality of Pécsbánya.

The victim, a 71-year-old woman was found in a pool of blood by her relatives in her apartment on November 10, 2010. The perpetrators first tried to strangle the elderly woman then, with a rolling pin beat her to death.

The robbers took the elderly woman's necklaces, rings and some of her porcelain items.

The 71 year old woman was robbed and beaten once before.

Pécs county court sentenced J. István twenty years in prison, and T. Lajos to life imprisonment as the latter was a repeat offender. One defendant was acquitted for lack of evidence. The judgment is not final.
