Azerbaijani theme park and cultural center in Budapest?

Thursday, August 1, 2013

Negotiations have been going on for some time between the Hungarian government and Azerbaijani officials about creating an Azerbaijani theme park in Budapest learned index.hu.

Negotiations have been going on secretly as part of the eastern partnership policy project. However, leaked information indicates that Budapest City Park will be the likely location of the planned project, which might include the construction of a cultural center.

According to the news portal, secrecy is necessary because Hungarian foreign policy gestures towards one of Hungary's key partners in central Asia have always provoked strong opinions domestically and abroad.

Azerbaijani officials argue that Armenia already has a park of remembrance in Hungary; officials however, don't just want a green space, but a location where a cultural center could be built.

Azerbaijan opened a theme park in Újvidék, Vojvodina two years ago with a monument that pays tribute to Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov (1885-1948).

So why do we encourage Azerbaijani? Armenia are our Christian neighbours not the islamic states who threaten our Christianity, Hungarian government is totally insane.

Wake up, they behave like Jews and their culture is not connected to our roots like Armenia.. The treat Christians like animals. Just research their corrupt government and the elite behind their success, while they oppress our Christian Armenian brothers.
