Jobbik tabled the "foreign agent" bill in parliament

Tuesday, October 8, 2013

Three Jobbik members of parliament, Márton Gyöngyösi, János Volner and Ádám Mirkóczki tabled a bill in parliament last week proposing that organizations that receive more than one million forints a year from foreign supporters must register as "foreign agents".

As expected the shitstream media immediately attacked the bill calling it antisemitic and compared it to the “proposal” of the registration of Jews, an allusion to Márton Gyöngyösi remark that the mainstream media distorted and trumpeted around the world as an instance of antisemitism. (The media outcry might be due to the fact that they felt if the bill passed most media outlets have to be registered as foreign agents as most of them are financed by behind the scene forces)

The three Jobbik MPs pointed out that the registration of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as foreign agents, already a common practice in Israel, Russia, and in specific cases in the United States.

The three politicians reasoned that such a registration is necessary: "He who pays the piper calls the tune". This is the order of the world and the legislation has nothing to do with antisemitism.

They also pointed out that current domestic regulations relating to foreign aid declarations are very vague. They mentioned the Helsinki Human Rights Committee and the TASZ, both "human rights organizations" are financed by American money.

Jobbik does not want these organizations to be shut down, but simply to let people know what interests these organizations represent, when they spread lies about Hungary regarding the treatment of Gypsies that Amnesty International, the Venice Commission and the United Nations accept as factual evidence.

These organizations represent foreign interests. Foreigners pay them and they are expected to serve the paymasters.
