Four Hungarian medals at World Karate Championship (cadet, junior and under-21) in Guadalajara, Spain during the weekend

The 27 member Hungarian team won one gold (Bousseba Aicha, Cadet Kumite - 54kg) and three bronze medals (Szegedi Döme U21 Kumite - 68kg, Hárspataki Gábor, Junior Kumite 68kg, Nógrádi Nicol, Junior Kumite - 53kg) finishing 10th on the medal table.


One thousand three hundred contestants from 100 countries competed at the event under the auspices of the WKF (World Karate Federation) that the International Olympic Committee recognizes as the official body of the sport.
