"At the second stop of my nationwide tour I applied for a job in the public works program in Gyöngyöspata" writes Vona on his Facebook page. “I worked with a team of unemployed people on a farm that produces goods for the city's public institutions including city run nurseries and schools.”
"I worked together with Roma people that didn't cause any tension in our team because everybody worked very hard."
"In the morning, we packed bales of hay, which is not an easy work. In the afternoon, we planted five plum and five peach trees. Yesterday, somebody gave me a bottle of wild pear brandy after my public forum in Csorna; today, at the end of the work day, I invited my colleagues for a drink" writes Vona.
"At the end of the day, I had a brief discussion with “Gyöngyös” and “Gyöngyöspata” city mayors, as well as representatives of “Gyöngyössolymos” regarding the public works program."
"I've learned something valuable today too. Friday, I will continue my public works job somewhere else. Oh, and 47 thousand forints monthly salary that participants in the public works program receive is not enough to make a living," writes Jobbik President Gábor Vona on Facebook.
