The first Hungarian Trading House opened in the Chinese capital

Government Commissioner for Hungarian - Chinese bilateral relations Péter Szijjártó opened the first Hungarian Trading House in the Chinese capital on Wednesday.

At a press conference in Beijing Szijjártó said Hungarian exports should be balanced: by 2018 one third of the total Hungarian export should be directed to non-European markets and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises should be significantly increased in foreign trade.

According to Szijjártó, due to Hungarian - Chines trade cooperation increase in exports targeting China already showing tangible results as in the first eight months of this year Hungarian export to China has increased by 16 percent. The growth discernible above all in pharmaceutical, food, wine and water management related trade.

During the day, Szijjártó has also visited ZTE headquarters in Beijing. The company is the world's fourth largest mobile phone manufacturer, it has been present in Hungary since 2005. ZTE announced in September, 2013 that the company relocates its mobile phone repair center in Europe to Hungary.
