Monday, December 2, 2013

According to the LEN website, two-time world champion and World Cup-overall winner Katinka Hosszú (HUN) earned the LEN award among the women.

"The award is a great honor for me. I did not expect it after all there are other great European swimmers that set world records this year, and perhaps they too would have deserved this award. I am very glad that finally the choice fell on me; it gives me more motivation for the new challenges ahead of me." said Katinka after learning the decision of the swimming federation.
