The car was handed over to the athlete in Porsche Hungaria's Óbuda Salon. The company executive indicated that the cooperation agreement can be extended by the end of each year.
After the ceremony Katinka stressed that the car was an extremely useful gift, since she commutes quite a lot.
The Friday's event was attended by the Hungarian Olympic Committee Secretary General Bence Szabó, the head of the Hungarian Swimming Association Tamás Gyárfás and Secretary-General Tünde Szabó.
The 24-year-old swimmer won two gold and one bronze medals at the world championships in Barcelona, while she won 55 medals (including 32 gold ) at the short track World Cup series breaking six world records.
This year Katinka has also received the prestigious Europe's top female swimmer of the year award by the European Swimming Federation.
After the ceremony, she added that she hoped that her winning streak of the season was not over yet, because at the short track European Championships in Denmark next week she competes in seven individual events.
