Gypsies have been caught stealing wood, attacked police officers with swords

Repeat offender Gypsy criminals suspected of wood theft resisted arrest and attacked police officers with swords in the city of Érd.

Swat-team was called and took three gypsies into custody informed the press Pest County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Csilla Gyugyi.

Foresters reported wood theft on Saturday; police officers went to the suspects's house to investigate the crime. The suspects' family members rushed out of the house, threatening police officers with swords. One gypsy criminal grabbed a police officer and tried to stab him while shouting verbal abuse.

Due to the fact that officers were overwhelmed a swat-team was called that arrested three gypsies; all have been charged with violence against state officials and resisting arrest.
