Police officer recovered two hens stolen from an elderly woman

Ároktő District police officer identified and captured a thief (probably a gypsy) that stole two hens from an elderly woman on January 2 in the early morning hours.

The owner discovered the theft at 7 o'clock in the morning however, she notified police only at 10:30 am. Police rushed to the scene and it took just half an hour to identify and capture the criminal suspect who by then slaughtered the birds. The police officer immediately seized the cooking pot with the hens in it and returned them to the rightful owner.

The hens unfortunately, won't lay eggs anymore but at least not everything was lost as the owner still can make chicken soup from what left.

The police officer also recovered four additional hens hidden in the thief's backyard. Police charged 40-year-old local resident Csaba L. with theft writes website.
