A Hungarian team of architects has won the international architectural design competition for Mongolian Archaeological Museum

Friday, January 24, 2014

The Hungarian team won the first prize ahead of Mongolian, Japanese, South-Korean and Chinese architect teams. The museum will be built in Ulaanbaatar national park. For the time being, the time frame of the construction of the museum is unclear. The latest news is that the Mongolian government wants to finish the project in 2016. Currently, Mongolia is undergoing major economic development that may have a major impact on the construction industry as well so we are looking for other architectural challenges in Mongolia said Junior Prima Prize-winning architect Barna D. Kovács.
