According to the article, the Hungarian Trade and Cultural Center will be the first such institute in the region; in addition to expanding bilateral trade between the two countries, the Trade and Cultural Center may also play an important role in improving trade relations between the European Union and Iran.

Referring to the opinion of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Middle East department President Sándor Balogh, Iran can supply top quality products to the European market at low prices, in exchange Hungary could export among other things automotive products to the Asian country.

The mayor of Tabriz considers inviting Hungarian firms to help revitalize the city's public transportation system, as well as help the modernization of public lighting. There are great opportunities in Hungarian-Iranian agricultural cooperation as well said Balogh.
