New Russian sub-machine gun called ADS will be shown at DEFEKSPO 2014 arms exhibition held in New Delhi in February. The sub-machine gun has been made by Tula Design Office incorporating several new features.

One of the most impressive new features of the sub-machine gun is that it can be used both on land and in water. The weapon is fitted with a special device allowing soldiers to fire the gun even while wearing diving gloves.

DEFEKSPO INDIA-2014 international exhibition will be held in New Delhi on February 6 – 9.

Schmeisser's (and his German assitants') brilliant design of the AK47 (forget Khalashnikov - a propaganda puppet) while in Soviet captivity (1946-52) is amazing; endured well over 50 years without any major redesign.

The much-much later American Stoner (M-16) had to be redesigned numerous times since 1963; its unreliability was legendary in Vietnam.
