Fifteen year old, Viktor Orosz wins gold medal at World Archery Indoor Championships in Nimes, France

Viktor Orosz the athlete of Debrecen Letizia SC won gold medal at World Archery Indoor Championships held this week in Nimes, France. The world Championship attracted 374 competitors from 50 countries.

Viktor showed amazing performance throughout the tournament; by defeating a Belgian, a Swedish opponent as well as former European Cup winner Hoviadovsky Roman of Ukraine he advanced into the final.

In the final, Viktor first defeated Modic Stas of Slovenia (7:3) then, Mario Vavro of Croatia to win the gold medal. The silver went to the Croatian and the bronze to the U.S. athlete.
