Hungarian and German members of the EP wants to name an Assembly Hall after militiamen Gyula Horn

Friday, April 11, 2014

Hungarian and German members of the European Parliament's (fake) socialist group would like to name an Assembly Hall in the EU parliament after former communist militiamen and Prime Minister Gyula Horn. This is despite the fact that there are ample evidences that Gyula Horn was demonstrably involved as a militiamen in the post-1956 retributions.

The EP Vice-President László Surján wrote a letter to the board members of the Assembly arguing against a positive decision. He wrote: Gyula Horn past activities divide Hungarian society, especially regarding his role in the post-1956 retributions.

At the 10th anniversary of Hungary's accession in the European Union, and the 25th anniversary of the opening the iron curtain, the (fake) Hungarian socialist party considers the proposal worthy of consideration.
