Russian Presiden Vladimir Putin wrote congratulatory letter to Viktor Orbán on election victory

The election results fully demonstrate that Viktor Orbán's policies enjoy broad support in Hungarian society writes the Russian president.

We appreciate the constructive and mutually beneficial Russian-Hungarian cooperation, and we are interested in the continuation and the consolidation of bilateral relations for the benefit of our peoples and for a stable and secure Europe writes Vladimir Putin in the congratulatory letter.

The Russian head of state expressed sincere congratulations to Viktor Orbán and his party that won a "decisive victory" in the parliamentary elections. The results of the vote fully demonstrate that Viktor Orbán's policies enjoy broad support in Hungarian society including his social policies, as well as his policy of raising living standards for the whole country writes the Russian president.
