The government doesn't represent Hungarian public opinion on sanctions against Russia

Tuesday, April 29, 2014

Survey results covering 11 countries have been released by the director of IpsosMORI Bobby Duffy on Twitter. It shows the opinion of 8333 global respondents from 11 countries in the age group of 16-64 on sanctions against Russia.

Among the countries surveyed, only Hungary where the ratio of opposing sanctions was greater than those who agreed with the punitive measures against Russia. It can be assumed, therefore, that the Hungarian public is more pro-Russian than the rest of the countries polled.

The countries covered by the survey include Sweden, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, France, Italy and Hungary.
