MEP Béla Kovács was admitted to hospital

Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Jobbik MEP Béla Kovács who is a victim of political witch hunt was hospitalized yesterday said Jobbik spokesman Adam Mirkóczki.

Béla Kovács accused of spying against the EU institutions, but no solid evidence has ever been produced to substantiate the charges against him other than rumors spread in the mainstream media.

Mirkóczki said that Kovács was admitted to hospital yesterday following complaints of pain in his chest.

Mirkóczki criticized Szilard Nemeth Fidesz member of the national security committee by saying that all that Nemeth said about Kovács after the national security committee meeting were lies and state secrets.

Szilard Nemeth should be ashamed of himself for what he and his party are doing, because this is the lowest of the low said the Jobbik spokesman.

Even if the charges against Kovács were true Jobbik wouldn't regard him as a traitor because he didn't "conspire" against Hungary, but against the EU institutions; however, the Jobbik party believes in Béla Kovács' innocence said Mirkóczki.

There is no scenario in the event if Kovács were to resign his EP candidacy answered Mirkóczki to a question about Kovács' medical condition.
