PM Viktor Orbán met the President of the Bank of China Tien Kuo-li in the Hungarian parliament

Budapest, 10 May 2014, Saturday (MTI) - Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank of China Tien Kuo-li met in the Hungarian parliament on Saturday. The two sides among other things, discussed Hungary's role as a regional financial center said Bertalan Havasi the Prime Minister's Press Secretary to MTI.

The meeting also attended by Peter Szijjártó, the Prime Minister's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations. The President of the Bank of China confirmed that the Bank of China Central and Eastern European regional headquarters will be set up in Hungary. The two sides announced that Hungary will play a major role in the Bank of China regional policy of promoting the Chinese currency, the yuan in international trade.
