London Angels women's handball team qualified to play in the English first division in the fall season

London Angels women's handball team is made ​​up exclusively of Hungarian women living and working in England; the team qualified to play in the English first division starting this fall; the news has been confirmed by the British Handball Association as well.

The Hungarian team had no problem qualifying for the English first division after winning seven of eight matches in the second division finishing in the top.

The only condition to play in the English first division is to set up a junior team.

The team recently has launched a junior recruitment campaign on various social networking sites.

London Angels started out in the English second division one and a half year ago. The team has 16 players, all Hungarians. The girls hold regular jobs or raising children while training and playing handball. The team trains in the Olympic Hall in London.
