Jobbik condemns Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip that claimed the lives of more than 500 people so far, most of them civilians. Jobbik also denounces the air strikes and the land invasion and calls on Israel to stop the brutal aggression against the civilian population of the Gaza Strip.
The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-mun called attention to the graveness of the situation in Gaza in his recent speech; he said "too much" Palestinian civilians have been killed in the Israeli military operation, and he felt personally responsible of what was happening in Palestine as the occupation have long been deprived the Palestinian people of their freedom and dignity write Jobbik vice-President Előd Novák.
Due to the brutal war on the Palestinian people by Israel the European Parliament also considers what Jobbik MEPs have been advocating for quite some time, the suspension of the Association Agreement negotiations between the EU and the Jewish state.
Jobbik's view is that the reasons given by Israel for the intervention in Gaza are unacceptable, since hostilities are caused by the ongoing violations of international law by the Israeli state as Tel Aviv still not willing to retreat behind its 1967 borders.
We can't look on the current genocidal war idly, therefore, Jobbik encourages all peace loving people to attend the peace rally on Thursday afternoon write Jobbik vice-President Előd Novák.
