Putin-Orbán-Lavrov meeting during the World Cup final

"Napi Gazdaság" has learned that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Russian president Vladimir Putin not only sat close to each other in the World Cup Final in Rio de Janeiro, but in the break they met in the VIP room of FIFA, where Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was also present.

According to information obtained by "Napi Gazdaság", the three politicians talked much longer than usual in such occasion.

Replying to a question about the nature of the talks Prime Minister Viktor Orbán remarked: "We talked about every issue that three men could talk in the break of a football game."

The Thursday's edition of "Napi Gazdaság" reminds readers that PM Viktor Orbán and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Moscow the last time in mid-January; the most important announcement at that time was the construction of two new blocks of Paks Nuclear Power Plant by Russia's Rosatom.
