Thursday, July 24, 2014

Two members of Russian Pussy Riot punk band have been awarded with the Hannah Arendt Prize announced the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Bremen, Germany on Thursday.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation that is closely allied with the extreme liberal Green Party awarded the € 7,500 prize to Maria Alyokhina and Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, the two utterly untalented “artists” and pesky agent provocateurs for opposing the reactionary revolution in Russia.

Three members of Pussy Riot were sentenced to two years boot camp for public nuisance and desecration of religious places in 2012 for performing in Moscow's Christ the Savior cathedral a musical "punk prayer" called blasphemy against Vladimir Putin.

The prize for the "promotion of public policy discourse," has been received by two "performing artists" of Pussy Riot punk band and Yuri Andruhovich Ukrainian writer jointly.

Andruhovich was one of the leading figures of the opposition movement that helped to organize the coup d'état against President Viktor Yanukovych.
