Székely Hungarians supporting Scottish independence

Thursday, September 18, 2014

Close to 25-30 people held flashmobs Tuesday night in several cities across Erdély - Marosvásárhely, Csíkszereda, Gyergyószentmiklós and Sepsiszentgyörgy - in support of Scottish independence organized by the Hungarian National Council of Transylvania (EMNT).

Protesters carried posters in Hungarian and English and waved Székely and Scottish flags. Police kept a close eye on the protesters and disbanded the gatherings after the quarter of an hour.

"We want to call the attention of Europe to the Scottish and the Székely peoples' struggle for independence and autonomy. “The peaceful separation of Scotland from the UK may set a precedent" said László Tiboldi the head of EMNT Csíkszék wing to Székelyhon news portal.

President of EMNT Maros county wing Gábor Czech remarked to MTI that Scotland wants independence while Székelyland wants autonomy, yet the referendum in Scotland could be a call for Europe for the peaceful settlement of autonomy demands across the continent.

At least, the same number of police officers kept watching over protesters at the Marosvásárhely flashmob as the number of people took part in the protest. Officers checked the identity cards of those attended the rally threatening them with fines. The same kind of police harassment have been reported from the other cities across Erdély including Gyergyószentmiklós.

Krisztina Sándor, the Executive Chairman of EMNT said to MTI all peaceful movements in Europe aiming for self-determination help Székelyland's struggle for autonomy. If Scotland manages to obtain independence that gives an impetus to Székely autonomy demands as well.

Unfortunately, the referendum was RIGGED.
The videos are coming out already.
The Scots should have insisted on international independent observers; like they were present in Crimea (at the invitation of the Russians).

That the Scots would not separate in spite of (conjured-up) "economic hardship" is simply inconceivable. (The Scots have the North Sea oil - remember?) There would be no economic hardship in any case, it's a red herring.

Remember the Slovaks separating (peacefully). The Slovenes, Croats, Bosnians, Kosovars separated with arms and fighting. None of them expected better economic condition after independence (for a while) and they have had no oil to assure their future economic well being.

The Scots are proud people with a long history. Under HONEST referendum their separation was a GIVEN, no question about it. They have no lesser national identity than the Slovaks or Croats, or of the Russians today either in Crimea or Eastern Ukraine. These all separated, or are in the process of separation, like the Eastern Ukraine Russians.

This referendum rigging and vote theft/fraud is disgusting, and show how corrupt the British are - as they ALWAYS have been throughout the centuries(!) - while they babble about "democracy" and "self-determination".

When the North Sea oil is gone in 20-30 years, and they have nothing more to STEAL from Scotland, then they will let them go from their deadly, suffocating "embrace".

Any Brit who read this: You come to Budapest, and I'll make sure to screw you over any which way I can - even if it's a little as you asking directions (you'll be sent the opposite way on the wrong tram/bus). It helps, that I speak fluent English - you'll automatically trust me...
