Anna Olasz wins gold medal at open-water swimmers World Cup series in Hong Kong

The Hungarian national sports federation reported on Saturday that 21-year-old Anna Olasz won gold medal at open-water swimmers World Cup series in Hong Kong. Forty-two competitors took part in the race in a 28 degree Celsius water with very high waves.

The Hungarian swimmer took the lead after five kilometers and won the gold medal before world champion Brazilian swimmer Poliana Okimoto.

The third place went to British Olympic silver medalist Keri-Anne Payne at the end of the 10-kilometer race. This is Anna Olasz's first World Cup victory, which according to FINA worth $ 2,500.
