More than a hundred thousand people celebrated Russian President Vladimir Putin's 62th birthday in the Chechen capital

In the Chechen capital of Grozny more than a hundred thousand people gathered to celebrate Russian President Vladimir Putin's 62th birthday on Tuesday. The mass celebration attended by heads of government agencies, representatives of youth organizations, and various student movements.

Young people dressed in the colors of Russian and Chechen national flags as they marched from Minutka Square to the main square in the center of Grozny. The march is led by Chechen President Ramzan Kadirov.

The marchers took Russian President Vladimir Putin and the first Chechen president Akhmad Kadyrov's portraits as well as symbols of the Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic. After the event a concert was held in the center of Grozny, before the city hall.
