Last week, I paid a two-day working visit to Russia. Initially, I wanted to make the trip in October, but due to the repeat municipal elections in Recsk and Ózd I had to postpone it.

I reviewed three main areas with my Russian partners. The (1) situation of Hungarians in Transcarpathia, Ukraine; (2) Hungarian-Russian economic relations in the light of sanctions, and (3) energy cooperation regarding the upcoming winter, the South Stream pipeline project and the construction of the Paks power plant writes the Jobbik president on Facebook.

Transcarpathian Hungarians live under constant threat; the current policy of the Ukrainian leadership does not offer any measures that might improve ethnic Hungarians' lives.
